Hi I am off to Tonga for a week and I am trying to find the best budget accommodation. Can anyone suggest a backpackers or guest house? Also if possible one that collects you from the airport. Thank you :-)

Are you spending the whole time on Tongatapu?
Because it's something of a flat dusty boring place that can be totally visited in half day.
Nerima Lodge used to be the place to stay but I'm not sure who if anyone is running it since Naoko passed away-it's worth sending an email though
Tongatapu is an awkward place with the airport @ one end of the Island and the main town Nukulofa @ the other end-a long expensive cab ride from one to the other-busses are infrequent at best.
If you plan to stay near the airport then is a good choice run by warm welcoming folks.
Always liked the look of this place but have never stayed
I don't recommend either Ali Baba's or Sela's both in Nukulofa.
If you can't get to Vava'u or even Ha'api then try to at least head to 'Eua for a day.
