I did a quick search and speeding up to 25 km/h carries a fine of 260 SFR. But for 33 km/h above there is apparently no set fine. Speeding above 25 km/h is seen to seperately because the fine is set according to the income of the driver. The website I looked at mentioned a case where the guy had been 36 km/h above and he had to pay 900 SFR. He went to court and ended up having to pay 25 000 SFR thanks to having a high income.
Found a website that calculates the fine, it said "between 300 and 2200 SFR" for 33 km/h above the speed limit on Autobahn.

That's not law, thats theft: set fine 900 and the guy pays 25K? They must have really been jealous of his salary.
Guess its a wait and see. No more travel for me. Hard knock lesson to learn.

I can help you with that one. The fines are different in each Canton. The Italian Canton is the harshest, followed by the French one and the German Canton is normally the most lenient. A fine for doing the speed you state in the Italian Canton will cost you around 400SF for doing 30kph over the limit. It will be around 200-300 in the other two Cantons. They are on the spot fines normally, if you are stopped. A GATSO fine is usually through within 7-10 days and you have 21 days to either pay or dispute it. I know so many people that have been caught speeding in CH and everyone thats had a go at appealing has had their fingers badly burned in court.
The Swiss road laws are among the strictest anywhere in the world.
So I got the ticket/bill in the mail this past week. Drum roll. verdict.
CHF 810 for the fine and CHF 280 for administration.
Administration was typing out a letter and mailing it to Canada.
So total cost for being 38 km over the limit in Graubunderland (east swiss) was CHF1100.
Sucks but could have been worse if I lived there.
