hey there
If there is a telephone number on the ticket i'd suggest calling it to get clarification or call the city halls traffic department in the juridisdition the ticket was issued,if as you say the court date has passed then you've waited too long and a bench warrant has been issued for your arrest which will be a big surprise to you next time you get stopped for a traffic violation in the USA,usually leads to your car being impounded until all charges have been paid in full and you being taken to jail until you can appear before a judge which is usually resolved the next day unless you are unlucky enough to be picked up on a Friday night then you get to spend the weekend in jail till you see the judge on Monday morning, differing traffic jurisdictions may have different ways of doing things but thats what happened to me in St Petersburg Florida some 20yrs ago and yes it was a Friday night, now when i get a ticket i pay it the same day..

hey there
ı've been caught speeding. And had a ticket but somehow I cant pay it online because the ticket is not regiestered even after 3 weeks. And court date has passed. does anyone had same kind of expreience. ı mailed any kind of authoritis in new jerrsey about the subject. nobody anwred back. now I am out of USa but I still want to pay in order to prevent future accusations or interest on fine etc.
Eroltoksoy - Next time you're in the States, come to Oregon instead of Jersey (one hell of a state if you ask me - I used to live there). Here in Portland you'd be lucky to even see a cop on the road let alone be ticketed. My neighbor, Ali from Istanbul, would be glad to have someone to talk Turkish with, and he might even make his famous simit (delicious).
Hey,
I live in jersey...what town did you get your ticket it in. I'll look it up for you.

hey guys,
thank you all for your inrterest and help. I finally figured out the ''U'' letter on the plate number was actually written as ''E'' ( cops are challenging doctors on writing skills) so I managed to pay it online. Nex time I wont drive faster than 60mph in any US state.
