as the title says thinking of heading out feb/march time to oz,probably going to do the ozinro thing as it seems the easyest way to meet people and find your feet but after tha no real plans to behonest. just travel,surf,drink,meet people,get a tan,gigs,photos ect ect.
Hey Mat, I am doing the exact same thing.......I plan on going in early Feb but have nothing booked yet. I am going to do Oz intro like you say I think that will be the easiest way to meet people. From there I plan on doing the East Coast, then wherever else!. I am also doing New Zealand and Thailand after.

It's not too difficult to meet people if you stay in a youth hostel in Sydney - certain ones are better than others for sure, and hostels often organise a regular bbq or something.
Hi Connor, Oz intro is a week long introduction thing organised for ppl, I don't know much more about it tbh but have a look at the website which will give u a better idea.

It is roughly £450 I think, and just includes a week of activities, food and drink isnt included except for the last evening....I dont think, but I think accomodation is. I guess its up to you if you want an organised thing to meet people or if ur happy just to go off on your own and meet people that way! I think I am going to do it just as i am very nervous about the whole thing, going alone and this being my first time travelling!
If either of you want to meet up or anything whilst out there let me know as would be good to know someone in the same boat!
