ko phi phi - very beautiful but quite enclosed and crowded during the time i went (december - peak season) if you like peace and quiet i recommend going to the beach the other side from where all the holidaymakers go.the beach where all the boats dock,it has a lot less people on it and plenty more space to yourself, very beautiful scenery and clean sea to swim in..although accommodation on this island can be expensive, takea day trip snorkelling around ko phi phi ley,1000bt for me as i was alone but well worth it,probably one of the most beautiful places you will see and certainly memorable
ko lanta very chilled out (when i went in april) big long beautiful beach, pretty much hardly any people about although not a lot to do at nigt, not many bars clubs, restaurants etc. but still a really nice chilled place,im sure i stayed at a place called lanta long beach resort phra ae beach?(long beach) around april aftere songkran (off peak) for a bout 700bt per night, room were perfect bungalows in lovely surroundings.
ko samui - if you want hussle and bussle busy bars/clubs restaurants and busy beach then i suggest chaweng or lamai, although ive only day visited these places...if you want more chilled outrealxed place with decent long beach thne i suggest maenam on the north of the island, stayed at a place called suan tong bungalows, nice style accomodation 600bt per night and the lady who owns/runs the place is lovely person very feiendly and helpful
ko tao - nice place, quite relaxed once again although we only spent a few dsys her and didn really aventure around much, although we did have a day snorkelling trip which was fun (but beware, just because your under the water the sun will still burn you) i got very badly sunburnt! iom pretty sure we stayed on the main beach hat sairee, cant remember how much we payed for accommodation?? we were there in may/june time (off peak) so i m sure you can haggle.now if i iremember correctlywwe were lucky being at the far end of the beach as it was very nice and clean but as you walked down the beach itbecame a little gotty and full of rubish and many many boats etc...sayin that there are mamny beauitiful restaurants on the beach serving exquisite thai food at a bargain price.
if i can help you anymore please dont hesitate to post on the thread or pm me,if i can help i will happily do so.

This year I’ve been to the island of Koh Lipe in Thailand. This island is located 70km off the Andaman (west) coast of Thailand's most southwestern province, Satun Province and shines out among some of Thailand's most beautiful, and unforgettable environments.
I had a great time on Lipe and there was a lot to do like snorkeling, shopping and eating in good quality restaurants and bars. I found my resort on Koh Lipe on -snip- where you can also check out more information about Koh Lipe and the surrounding areas. I can really recommend Koh Lipe for a nice relaxing holiday in paradise!
