2 weeks stay in cuba?

I am planning a trip with a best friend, we want to go to Cuba and not sure whether to spend 2 weeks there or I week there and a week somewhere else... any thoughts welcome!

Are you going to travel around or want to focus on a beach holiday?

Anyway, in both cases I would definately spend two weeks there. But with two weeks I would focus on one half of Cuba, and the western half is the one I would choose: Havana, Vinales/Pinar del Rio, Cienfuegos, Santa Clara and Trinidad. And a few days at the beach is always an option to add after travelling around.

If the main thing is relaxing, there are dozens of options, but I would skip Varadero because honestly, you can't call it Cuba really

As Utrecht already said. Spend two weeks!
I was last November there. A 2 weeks Roadtrip with 3 friends. Startet in Havana than Vinales, Pinar del Rio, Maria la Gorda, Soroa, Cienfuegos, Trinidad, Santa Clara and back for one day to Playa del Este (Havana).

Was awsome!

In Maria la Gorda you can relax on the beach and go diving (guess is one of the best spots in Cuba). Trinidad is a beautiful old City and closed to is a nice beach called Playa Ancon. And it has also the biggest grave disco of Cuba.
We were just 1 day in Cienfuegos, but it's I nice bigger town. Don't ask me what you can all do there. ^^ Soroa is in Jungle. There is just Jungle with a Garden and a Waterfall. And Santa Clara is for all who want to know the history about the Revolution and Che Guevara.

There is many places to spend 2 weeks in Cuba but i personally recommend you Varadero. It is a nice place to spend two weeks, best beaches in the country and also good hotels. You can also check for keys like key Coco or key Guillermo for example. Those are places with bests hotels and best views and some of them are virgin places. -snip-

Hope you visit Cuba soon
