Januray 2011, I 'm taking a cruise to the Southern Caribbean and would like to know which of these islands has the best beaches:
1. Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas. 2. Frederiksted, St. Croix, U.S.V.I. 3. Basseterre, St. Kitts. 4. St. John , Antiqua. 5. Phillipsburg, St. Maarten.

St. Thomas - we enjoyed Meagans Bay - beautiful
St. Croix - sorry haven't been there
St. Kitts - We did the Train tour of the island.. beautiful
Antiqua - did Shirley Heights and Nelsons Dockyards tour
St. Maarten - again, did an island tour and shopping
I'm sorry I can't help with the definitive on which Island has the best beaches of these (I live in Barbados and know we have the best.. but your cruise isn't coming here0.
also.. remember there are more to these islands than just the beaches..

One place you have to visit is Jamiaca!!! AMAZING!!!
