What to do in a noisy hotel room - neighbours snoring?

Oh Boy - just returned from a trip to Europe and stayed in a nice hotel in Barcelona for 3 night.
It was OK but the guy (guy I think!?) in the next room snored all night - not too loud but of course once you are awake for any reason, that is ALL you can think about!

Travel with ear plugs.

Cheers,
Terry

or still better, switch on some light music at a low volume. Not only you will be able to get rid of that noise but will listen to nice music as a bonus. We all know music does help soothe and calm you.

Pinch the snorer's nose tightly and hold the mouth shut with your hand over it untill the snoring ceases.

That's hilarious, Seany...

Cheers,
Terry

LOL
I guess it happens that we get a "noisy neigbour" occasionally.
I'll ask at th ehotels I stay at for work in the next few months - see what they say!

Ear plugs - yes - good idea!

A snorer's database? I'd say he's joking. Most hotels staff would probably know that some of their rooms are quieter than others. But as someone else said, EARPLUGS! They are as an important travel item as a credit card.

Fair enough - but knowing of quiet rooms doesn't help if you have already checked-in a loud snorer because you don't know in advance just how noisy he/she is!
Earplugs are a good idea though!

You could also bang loudly on his door (and run). The guy might wake up and give you enough time to get to sleep before he starts snoring again,

Nice one!
