Here I wanna mention about Prague:
don't miss Chech beer - it's huge variety, good quality and almost with no money (so cheap)
In Prague you'd better pay in cash, at least for small things (shopping, food). I had bad experience with credit card in Prague, and as I know not only me.
For basic sight-seeing you need around 3-4 days in Prague, it even may be shorter if you r not going "deep". Tourist information and maps are avaliable also in the city, but it will help if you make a "home-work" (getting info for advance from internet or keeping a book with plan)
