I just spen 4 months in the states. and went to so many places! When you are out in vegas, you should def go to the grand canyon. its breath taking. that was my 3rd time there and im never bored of it. In LA i stayed in santa monica, which is really nice. From the beach i rented out a bike and rode down to venice beach, where there are loads of littles stalls where you can buy little presents and gifts, its very cute. the nightlife there is ofcourse amazing! in san fran make sure you go to lobard street, take a tram and go to alcatraz. for new york there are many hostels you can stay in, try either the different jazzhostels, pehaps jazz on the park/ on the town. or try the chocolate hostel. the natural history museum there is free, only done by donations. and you can easily spend a few hours there. if you are into your drinking, then go downtown to this place called wicked willy's. its known for its beer pong tables. if you dont know what beer pong is, you will do by the time you leave! its so fun! the bar is on bleaker st. the area its in is very studenty and carefree. therefore the flowing beer is cheap! they also have bands playing there, and karaoke. a place you didnt mention was chicago, and i cant stree this enough... you must go! its incredible! if you are into live music, go to the empty bottle there. peple in chicago are the friendliest i ever met! but if you want something a bit swish go to the signature bar on to p of the john hancock building. the views over the city at night from there are incredible! the lincoln park zoo is free and pretty cool, as is the magnificent mile and the aquarium. philadelphia is a clean and chilled out city, which makes for a great day trip from nyc. run up the rocky steps, see liberty bell and walk thru the town hall there. and finally if you are planningon going down to the south you must go to miami! the party doesnt stop there! you can also get a cruise to the bahamas from there, which lasts three days. stay at the jazz on the beach hostel there. staff are friendly and the atmosphere is great! plus it is in a really good location, just one block form the beach! if you want to go clubbig here is that place to do it. go to space, nocturnal and nikki beach on a sunday!
