Hey..
I've looked at AirAsia's flights and they are amazingly cheap.. way cheaper than any other airline.. I'm only travelling from Manila to Ho Chi Minh city (stopping off at Kuala Lumpar) so it's not a particularlylong flight... But I've read some negative reviews.. Has anyone flown with AirAsia before?? Could you give me your comments?

I have flown with them several times and have always found them to be really good. I never experienced any delays, they are amazingly cheap and their aircraft are pretty new and in good condition.

Last Dec my husband flew from Abu dhabi to Penang and back with them and he was pretty happy with the whole experience and with their very reasonable prices you won't go wrong
The one flight I had with Air Asia was excellent - very efficient and new equipment. I think the problem with complaints comes with delays and cancellations due to their very large network. Aircraft do need constant maintenance, and I would rather see a flight canceled than fly on faulty planes. People also have to understand that this is an LCC offering low cost flights with no interline service.

I travelled all round SE Asia in 2008 and took about 4 air asia flights which were all excellent, they are great for what they are low cost airline and I had no problems whatsoever with delays or anything else.

I have many times of experience by flying with airasia. So far I dont have problem with this airlines.
Yes, they ever delay the flight due to the technical reason or weather. But I was gived the free voucher flight 200 MYR from them due to the delay flight for 3 hours . Beside that, they also inform me by text, and phone for the delay flight. It was last year. But recently i never has any delay experience from this airlines.
For me it is very recommended airlines.

I have flown with Air Asia many times and they are a great budget airline. All airlines have delayed flights etc, airasia doesnt really have any more than any other airline. i have found the service good and the staff friendly. I have never experienced any problems with them, no delays or anything and i have always arrived at my destination on time. I even flew with Airasia from Kuala Lumpur to London and it was quite a pleasant flight. As you said its only a short flight anyway so i wouldnt worry!
I flew with Air Asia and am flying with them again. their planes are comfortable, and the crew were lovely and helpful. When I went to checking for my 4.30pm flight KL to Penang I found they'd cancelled that flight and put me on a flight after 9.00pm which meant I'd not get to Penang until after 10.00pm. The girl could do nothing but advised me to see her supervisor. This I did, explained I was a female travelling alone etc etc and he (the supervisor) got me onto the 3.00pm flight for which I was very grateful.
I had booked my flights in September and they'd changed the flight 4 weeks later. My point was they didn't email me to let me know. Fortunately everything turned out alright.
