Great Old Hotels

Anyone know any guides to great old hotels in the United States? I am from San Francisco and have fallen in love with the old hotels we have here - stained glass windows, soaring ceilings in the dining rooms and lobbies, and always great service. I am going to travel this summer and would like to stay in others.

On the east coast, the Greenbrier in West Virginia.

On the west coast, the Mission Inn in Riverside, California. A classic hotel with amazing tile work and authentic Tiffany stained glass windows.

Both are highly recommended.

The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park CO , minutes frm Rocky Mtn National Park and featured in the movie The Shining . And the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs , minutes frm Pike's Peak and a prime example of the Gilded Age
