Travelling to Thailand, Cambodia, Laos HELP!!

Hey there,

oh...unlucky..if u come to thailand in this month i wanna invite u and friend to join my trip that create by our campus on 16-17 Jan to Sukhothai, there's a world's heritage...also,it's not expensives it's a package tour for 3500 THB...around $115...

Allow yourself plenty of time in Vietnam and thailand there is so much to cover and like all countries there have there differences.

Ohh....also Malaysia and Singapore can be quite expensive, whilst all the other countries are cheap, especially vietnam to get around and live. Both Malaysia and Singapore will still be there and after visiting the other countries your sure to return.

Enjoy !

Most Bpers do what is called the Indo-China Loop. I will assume you will start of in BKK. I would go north and hit the sightseeing you have planned for the , area. Perhaps , historic city of . After your northern swing, into Laos. You can buy your Laos visa on arrival. I am not a Laos expert, but I would budget 2 weeks for Laos. Into VN, buy your VN visa while you are in Vientiane. Check locally, but I would try to enter VN so that you do not have to detour much to hit HaNoi. Figure 4 weeks in VN working your way south. I prefer the bus system when travelling from HAN to SGN. Cheaper, more convenient than the Not as safe however. Your decision. covers a few legs of our open tour between SGN and Nha Trang. Once in HCMC, you can enter Cambodia via bus or boat. The bus is much cheaper, boat is more scenic. My blogs covers our trip from HCMC to Phnon Penh. Here is an on the boat option. You can buy your Cambo visa on the bus.

I would spend no more than 2 weeks in Cam. Perhaps some beach time in Sihanoukville,Angko hit Siem Reap on your way back to BKK. Allow 3 days for . Overland back to BKK in one day. Here is the for getting in/out of Cambodia. You will only get 2 weeks when you enter Thailand via road. If you need more time, you need to get over to the Thai Embassy in PP and get a tourist visa. Or fly back into Tland from PP. has cheap flights PNH-BKK. There are no cheap flight: REP-BKK.

Finish off your time in Thailand hitting the southern beaches. I recommend you use the Krabi area as your base for beach time. You will want to hit , perhaps or as well. Add if you need more beach time. You can enter Malaysia via road or train. Free visa on arrival. After touring Malaysia, into SIN via bus or train. Free visa on arrival. There are heaps of cheap flights back to BKK if your flight home leaves from there.

Good luck with your planning and send me a PM if you have any questions.

Do not miss Luang Prabang, Laos - yes, it's crawling with well-heeled Westerners and NE Asians, but for good reason. It's simply the most beautiful unspoiled spot in the region. First place to go are the waterfalls - swimming is refreshing and very safe. Prices there can be double the rest of Laos, but I did find a wonderful $12. room (behind JOMA bakery, near the P.O.).

Thanks for the replys, they have been really helpful!

I have another question, i wasnt sure what size backpack to take. I already have a 40L backpack and was thinking of taken that one but im worried about it being too small......

O and should I take a smaller rucksack for daytrips??
