Phuong is right. There are many options and prices on HaLong Bay crusies. I would suggest that you wait until you are in HaNoi before booking anything. The price quote online is much higher than when you are in HAN. Get at least 3 quotes for tours before buying anything. Competition is fierce among the travel companies. Your hotel will also offer to book a HaLong Bay tour for you. Have your quotes in hand before even telling your hotel that you want to tour HaLong. It can get very unpleasant if you don't book with your hotel. If you have done your homework, then you will know if your hotel is quoting you a fair price.

The most recommended tour agent in Vietnam is called the Sinh tourist.
I didn't manage to find the original office in Hanoi but I was getting quite fair price for 3D2N tour including Cat Ba island
only for 45 USD. Full board. Depending on the luxury of the boat and your cabin or hotel class, you may decide which
price you want to pay.
There are so many travel agent offices in Hanoi (Old Quarter area) so you can actually compare between them
if you have enough time.

I agree with the web member's post. I recommend you that : You should not book you trip online before you are in Hanoi. Because, your hotel or another office can offer for you some good trips in Halong bay with good price. I know some one when they book the tour online, the agancy did not come, so ........I don't know they lost the money or not , but they lost the time and trust.
