Hi All,
Something like this would be quite cool on Koh Lanta

Jade, I loved Koh Lanta for its peace and quiet, gentle sea and great food but for me it's just not picturesque enough for a honeymoon. If you're going to go to Thailand maybe you could go there and combine it with either Koh Phi Phi (very very picturesque but a bit touristy) or Krabi (very picturesque but a bit backpackery) or both? Then you would get the best of all worlds....
off my an extended 5 month honeymoon myself in about 8 weeks! can't wait. so have been looking high and low for a few nice romantic hotels here and there on for our trip (cheap places with a few lux ones thrown in for the honeymoon factor)
recently found this gorgeous resort on Expedia
Baan Panburi Village - http://www.baanpanburivillage.com/
Ko Phangan
cheapest one, Garden Hut, was £12, and most expensive was £43p night.
I booked it but then realised it would be rainy in November when we're there so cancelled it and we're off to the West coast instead (nice resort on Railay)
Southern Morocco.
Some of the world's finest beaches, mountains galore, cheap, lovely hotels all along the coast - oh and in January the weather will be just perfect for that late evening honeymoon beach walk.
Ooooh - I've come over all tingly.
I wanted to check out the loveliness of Tasmania but still find no time. If you want you can check it ahead I've heard a lot of people spending and lazying their days in tasmania for honeymoon. You would love the lagoon sorrounded by mountains and the mountain surrounded by the sea coast. Also heard about cradle mountain?
What about Costa Rica, it is cheaper and so beautiful. You may have a honeymoon full of romance and adventure. Think about it!
