Never heard that acronym before,not sure where there are farms dedicated to organic farming but they are out there and i'm sure they'd welcome a helping hand,perhaps there is an organized website or forum for organic farms where you could inquire.

Yes WWoof is a company that operates all over the world inc the States. i was just a bit confused as the website say not to mention you will be WWoofing as immigration may get confused and think it is work.
i just don't want to go through the rigmarole of getting a Visa if I don't need to.

Yeah those customs agents get real anal if they think you will be working in America.Have a specific tourist itinerary ready for them when they ask you where you are going.Whether you stick with that itinerary once you are past the customs officers is up to you but it sure makes the entering of the USA a lot easier.
