wel,im planning on going to australia sometime around april or may,most likely alone as my friends circumstances have changed and he now cant go,ive already got my 1 year working holiday visa but have not booked a ticket yet as im a little nervous about the taughts of goin over alone and just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat as myself or has done it before?

wow how exciting..Im heading to Oz in the end of March (well thailand for 3 weeks then into Perth in April). Im lucky that one of my friends is going, but I had planned to go alone. Everyone says that you will meet people along the way, so I think once your open minded and willing to put in the effort to chat to people you'll be grand.
What part you thinking of heading to?? I think most of ireland is out there at the moment so im hoping it'll be easy to make new friends
hey trishy,ye ur rite,half of ireland is out there now,i cant decide on where to go but wil most likely be melbourne or perth to begin with and see how i go from there,planning on doing the seasonal work too so can apply for 2nd whv hopefully,how long u plannin on staying?

I'm planning a solo trip Down Under from 22th February, will be arriving in Brisbane where I'll stay for a week and visit my family. Then I'll go south toward Sydney and Melbourne to visit some friends. Cause I'll be staying in Oz till end of May I have a lot in my mind to see and woudn't mind some company!

im from dublin, heading to oz in may no flights booked yet but hoping for the 16th going alone aswell so pretty nervous about it, im heading to perth first as i heard its meant to be easier to find work there, gonna do the seasonal work as soon as possible to get the 2nd year visa too
