I had my passport washed twice in the wash machine and it has a bit of blue moulde on the inside cover just wondering if the chip would still be working and if it would trouble me at the airport. I go away in 2 weeks.
Oops! I have no idea! Maybe you should phone your travel company and see if all of the check are based on the chip or whether the new passports can be processed manually too? Then you'll know if you need to go around running around trying to test it :p
