Sailing (and Island hopping) in Croatia, Turkey, and Greece

Hello.

Sleeping outdoors is not permitted anywhere you are going. However what they don't see, the police can't do anything about.

No offence intended but if you are sleeping out, do try to look tidy when going near any customs posts as they may consider you an "undesirable alien" and refuse you entry.

There are ferries between the island but I can't see anyone giving you a free ride. You might see a mail boat or the like but remember with remote places you have to get back.

As I said to someone else recently, times are hard in Greece and the islands (a report recently talked of some people dumping children on the streets as they cannot afford to feed them any more) so not a lot of generosity there.

Summer can get very hot in Turkey and Greece and their islands, as in over 40.C. In rare circumstances, this can lead to forest fires.

Many, many out of the way places but as they are out of the way, you'll need a map, to ask the locals, and often to walk there. Greece alone has some 6,000 plus islands.

hahaha by no means do I look remotely homeless...I just thought it would be fantastic to try to find some remote beaches (if that even exists) and sleep outdoors or pitch a small camping tent. Perhaps I'll have to stick to designated camping areas...but from what I've seen, I'd be better off just couchsurfing or getting a hostel for the price of a camping plot.

I just discovered http://www.sail-croatia.com/ and they offer a variety of sailing options, and there are some discounts offers for solo travellers. Seems like a good alternative to a "yacht-week" cruise.

Do you know of any other Croatia/Turkey/Greece sailing companies you can recommend?

Can you recommend any specific more off the beaten path islands I should visit?
Any thoughts on the following?

Croatia:
Hvar
Korcula
Trstenik
Makarska
Dubrovnik
Milna

Turkey - I don't know where to begin, and need help.

Thank you!
