Hi All!
Hey i have similar plans but im starting in cairns in august and travelling down the east coast to sydney for new years and hopefully settle there for a while but apart from that i really have no set plans either , going solo aswell so bit nervous about that . u got any idea of what sort of stuff u wana do when your travelling ?

well iv kinda changed my plans and am looking at starting at cairns and making my way down (seems better to do it that way!!) seems to be so many people going solo - so exciting!!
just wanna do as much as possible - and see everything, skydive for sure, work along the way and chill out and have fun! thinking of the hop on, hop off bus - but would love a wee roadtrip in a campervan if there were a good bunch of people up for it.
plans are pretty vague for now - but i think its best to go like that and see what happens when we are out there! so when u arriving in oz?

yeah i think its better from cairns due to the weather at that time of year , i think ill be doing the greyhound aswell but never really thought of a campervan because i was going alone never really seemed like an option but might be something to think of if i meet decent people along the way
my plans are very vague , my friend who stays in sydney told me not to make too many set plans because everything changes so much when u are there , so im just going to go with the flow and enjoy myself
i plan to be in cairns for august but not booked my flights yet , do u know when u will be there ? always good to know ppl travelling the same time .

I am planning to go down from Cairns too about May-June.I just moved here from New Zealand for working holiday, mainly touring.I just purchased a car too.I am excited about my travelling.I am currently travelling in Melbourne and planning to go around Victoria area like Bendigo.I am hoping to join people like you.I am flexible with any plan at ease with time or plans.Are you reaching sydney,Cairns and downwards? Are keen for a casual cafe brunch or tea?
Hi mikey, I arrive in Sydney mid-June but going to stay with family for a while as I haven't seen them in years! I'm easy as to when I make my way to cairns - august time is what I'm thinking though. definitely a plus to know people before we go - less nerves, more excited!!!
Any more solid plans?? Book your flights, makes it all seem real now! I leave in 2 months as m going to Japan and Malaysia first!!
Aw I'm arriving in Sydney in June so if your around we can defintely meet up - won't b setting off on my proper travels til July/august time though! I'm gonna make my way up to cairns and travel south

starting to get a bit more solid plans now flights are getting booked next week to arrive in cairns for the start of august and stay there for a few weeks , i think im going to book with oz experience for between cairns and sydney bit less hassle since im travelling alone too,

Im also arrivin in sydney in july though dont have family and will be staying in hostels! going on my own aswell great to see some other girls doing it too! want to travel up the east coast also but will need to work as I go along! let me know where you are could meet up also!!
