I'm going travelling in a few months and plan to do some scuba diving along the way. I figure is worth investing in a waterproof camera rather than pay extortionate prices for 3 or 4 snaps the insructors take!
Has anyone had any experience with them, if so are there any particular brands/models you'd recommend (or steer clear of). From what I can tell, a camera + casing is the best option. Out of the box waterproofs seem to be designed for getting a bit wet at the beach rather than diving.
I don't want to spend a huge amount, maybe around £150, so I'm not looking for an all singing all dancing bit of kit. Just something that will take some decent shots.
It is not possible to buy a decent camera + additional waterproof casing for £150.
For your budget start researching simple waterproof point & shoots that are good for snorkelers.
Cheers,
Terry
