Which backpack do I choose?

Hello everyone!

Those bags you've posted seem ok, although fairly big... A 40-45 L would do the job without any problem!

I'd count the Akula out because I don't like the compression straps at the bottom. Also, it declines to show the rigging. The three bags are virtually the same in most respects. I lean towards the Thunder Bay because I like it's rigging, but it'll hug closer to your neck at the top so you have to make a decision there, as the Lynx is a little wider in the rigging at the top. I really don't like not being able to see how the pack is designed when the day pack is detached. What happens to the compression straps in that eventuality? Because you'll most likely detach the day pack eventually and want to go with the main pack on it's own. If you can, find out about that. The TBay looks to be made of more durable material. It looks to be flatter, which helps with balance. That would be the one for me.
