New York

Hello all,

I'm guessing they won't be as cheap as the exchange rate is nowhere near as good. Back in 2007, you got $2 for every £1 but I think it's only $1.5 now so they probably will be cheaper but not loads cheaper.

2007 and 08 is when the dollar crashed around the world. He was back in 2003 when the dollar was more stable and was averaging $1.6, plus with the way the economy is now, there are always good sales going on. So yes, you will find clothes cheaper in the US than the UK.

The answer is yes. It's still quite a bit cheaper. Basically my friends in the UK say that the difference in price is just one of pounds to dollars (i.e. if something is £15 back home, expect to pay $15 in the states).
