You'll make more money teaching English than doing computer work in Asia - certainly more than enough to play your food and accommodations. You might not be able to do that with your computer work as there are plenty of locals working on all aspects of computers throughout asia.
If you really want to do computer work I think you'll have a hard time unless you find a company who really wants a native speaker to do work in English for them - and when you read signs and websites you'll realize very few of them really seem to want that badly enough to hire English speakers.
BUT - finding a charity organization in one of those countries who might want someone to design a website or something like that for them might pan out, but most of them probably could care less if you were doing that while at their place or while sitting at a desk in London.
