Hello there! My name is Ben, 28, from the UK and I am planning on travelling solo to Sydney on my 1st WHV around March/April time next year. I figured Sydney would be a good starting point in Oz although once i'm there i'd like to see as much of the country as possible. I've travelled a little before whilst serving in the Army but never alone and to be honest i'm a little nervous about it! Wondered whether anyone else is heading out there around the same time? If so drop me a line!

I am flying into Sydney on June 2nd. Not exactly sure what my plan is of yet but think I will be getting a cheap flight up to Cairns and working my way down the East coast.
How long do you plan to travel in Oz for? I am getting a working holiday visa so I plan to stay for up to 12 months.
This is also my first time travelling alone but sure we will meet loads of cool ppl on our travels.

Sounds like a good plan mate, all of east coast Australia looks amazing. I'm going on a WHV too so i'll be looking at staying anywhere up to 12 months. I'm aiming at going in April althought this could change as I'm still saving up and I dont kow how secure my job is at the moment. I'll keep you posted mate!
