Hi! I'm not Spanish, but I do always make sure I have a travel insurance when I travel. I travel quite often so I have an annual multi-trip travel insurance. Not that I have need to claim anything in all the years I have one, but it is a safeguard in case if anything happen. I'd rather never have to claim anything, but I don't think it's the kind of money I want to save either.
That's my opinion. I don't know though about the other travellers here, if they take out a travel insurance when they travel or not.
