It is nice to hear that you are coming this wonderful land and hearty welcome. Well exactly no body can say during that time the Thorong La pass will closed or open because mountain weather is unpredictable. some time it will be close in winter and some time in spring but mostly in winter season that pass is closed. So in my openion you head up that time frame. If unfortunately will closed also you have to wait 2 or 3 days than local people are make the way no woories. Hope this info will help you. looks like we are going to head over that time and if the weather is a bit heavy we might just do the jomson walk or similar as a plan b.
