Need help planning a Europe trip for April 2010

Hi everyone !

London in April, expect cold and wet. In your place, I'd spend some days in London, then get a Ryanair (book on internet and remember check-in) flight from Stansted, NE of London, to Malaga on the south coast of Spain which should be at least warm if not hot (though nights can be cool). From there, you are within easy reach (tours or car hire) of Seville, Granada, Cordoba, Gibraltar, Morocco and Faro amongst other places.

For accommodation, type in location and hostelworld.

Having just 12days, suggest you to visit Ireland and Netherlands that are close by.You need to see England too. I think when you see these palces, your 12 days holidays would be over.

When you have more number of holidays you can visit countries like Porugal.

Have a nice trip.

The Netherlands are gorgeous in April, and although there's always the chance of rain, this is generally still the month to be here. Take a train to Leiden or Haarlem, rent a bike at the train station, and make your way toward the flower fields, which will be in full bloom. (Make certain you have a good map.)

Ireland's weather in April is a bit of a hit and miss really. This year, the nice month was May. Even June was not great, but that's besides the point.

A trip between London/Dublin/Amsterdam can quite easily be managed, and you'll be looking at flying between the three places. An alternative would be London/Brussels/Bruges/Amsterdam, which you can do by train. If you want to go to Portugal, then I'd say stick to just London/Portugal - fly betwen the two and you can use train to travel different cities in Portugal.

In Dublin, for accommodation options that are central, make sure they're located within Dublin 1 or Dublin 2. It's not a big city so you can very easily explore it by foot. Or you can also try plugging the address in Google Map, and see how far they are from Grafton Street or O'Connell Street (and anything in between the two). The closer they are, the more central you'll be.

Well.....IN the month of the April in spring is the beginning of the real high seasons, when early April tulip blooms begin to swell the number of visitors. So No doub’t it’s a grate time to visit in Europe. But Over the last two years April and May were much warmer than usually. June should be warm all over europe (except Scandinavia) but always chance for rain. And in Turkey is best to visit in spring (April to mid-June) when the weather is moderate, the days are long and the tourist rush hasn’t begun. And remember April can be a bit rainy though if that bothers you, otherwise the weather is fine ,you can visit in the month of April easily.
