Hi, im travelling to brisbane on jan 31st and currently looking around for the best deal on a working holiday visa, does anybody know where you can get these cheap..or know the price I should be paying for them?
Exactly as much, and no more than, whatever it says . (Currently $230 (AUD), which according to their currency converter is equal to 115 GBP or 130 euro.) This is also . Anywhere else is a useless third party, trying to make money based on people's ignorance of how easy it is to apply at the official website.
Also, How strict are the immigration officers at the airport regarding the $5000 dollars you are ment to have on you when you enter the country? I dont wanna get there and find I have too less and they send me home lol
No one on this website in the nearly five years I've been here has ever reported being asked to show proof of funds. It's generally a good idea to have at least that much money available, as experience shows that most people need at least such an amount, but unless you're looking particularly poor, or your immigration official is having a particularly bad day, you're unlikely to be asked for this.
I have never heard of anyone carrying $5000 when entering Australia and I would strongly recommend not to carry any big amount of cash with you at any time. What you can do is take a copy of your last bank statement with you showing that you have enough funds to support yourself. That's all they want to know in case they really ask for it.

You don't even need that- I just took my credit card statement that showed I have enough credit available to me- you don't actually need to have the money, you just need it available. But like Sander said, I've never come across anyone who's been asked for it...of course it could happen, though.
